William (Bill) Joseph Meyer

Meyer, William J. “Bill” Age 79 of Maplewood Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Passed away peacefully on October 23, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maragret (nee Sporschutz) Meyer; and by brother and sister-in-law, Dick (Jean). Husband and best friend of Beverly (nee Absey) of 59 years. Survived by children, Greg (Gina) and Tom; three grandchildren, Amy (Corey) Breault, Joseph and Patrick; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Anna; sister, Joan Bachand; and by many nieces and nephews. Bill was retired from the U.S. West telephone company. He was involved in Birthright Services for many years after his retirement. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, October 28, 2013 at Church of the Assumption, 51 West 7th Street, St. Paul. Visitation 2-5 PM Sunday at Mueller Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul and also one hour prior to the Mass at church on Monday. Interment Guardian Angels, Oakdale.
