William “Bill” Joseph, Maplewood, MN
William “Bill” Joseph of Maplewood, MN, was born to eternal life on Saturday, August 17, 2013, as the result of a car accident. He was born on February 11, 1963, in Ashland, WI, the son of Harold and Dabney (Kehring) Joseph.
The passion and love of Bill’s life was his family. He is survived by his wife Deana, and daughters Reagan and Gabriella. Bill’s commitment to his family was strong and fierce and exemplified in the pure joy seen in his smile on any opportunity he had to have adventures, complete projects, play, laugh, and have quiet time with his three girls.
Bill is further survived by his father, Harold and siblings, Julie (Lennie) Nowakowski, Doug (Becky) Joseph, Kurt Joseph, Dan (Jessica) Joseph, and Melissa (Don) Wiener, as well as his mother and father in law Dave and Carol Klein, sisters in law Cheryl (Kurt) Spindler and Laurie (Roberto) Dixon. He leaves his family with precious memories of a son and brother who was a treasured friend, an angel in blue jeans.
Bill was an uncle to Nicole Traczyk, David, Sarah, Mikayla Joseph, Katie Nortunen, Joseph and Stephanie Wiener, Sam and Caitlin Joseph, Ethan Joseph, and Archie, Sam, and Alice Spindler. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Dabney in 2008, great nephew Blair Boening in 2011, uncle, Woodrow Kehring, an infant brother Joey in 1967, and his grandparents.
Bill graduated from Glidden High School in Glidden, WI in 1981. He received a Doctoral Degree in Polymer Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA in 1993. He was a chemist for 20 years with 3M Company in St. Paul, MN. Bill was a dedicated employee who was always willing to help out any coworker in need.
If you were blessed to know Bill, you were his friend. He was truly a gentle man. He was a member of St Pius X Catholic faith community and was active with the Knights of Columbus and SAC committee.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at St Pius X Catholic Church, 3878 Highland Ave, White Bear Lake, MN. Public visitation will begin at 9:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
