Counihan III William Joseph “Bill” Age 69 Of Forest Lake He passed away unexpectedly due to surgical complications on July 26, 2016. He was a man of faith, family, friends, and integrity. He is preceded in death by parents, William J. Counihan Jr, Elaine Mae Counihan; nephew, Mitchell Karstens, and his favorite pup rottweiler "Blazer Dog." Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lynda; sons, Bill (Stacie) and Joshua (Jaime); grandchildren, Hollie, Eli and Emilia; sisters, Sheri Haug (Steven Merrigan), Barb (John) McGrath; brother in law, Leonard Haug; niece, Heather (Steve) Karstens; nephew/godson, Cody Karstens; many relatives and friends. USAF Vietnam Vet, White Bear Lake Police Office of 29 years; MSP Airport Police Officer of 10 years. Service Tuesday, August 2 at 11:00 am at EAGLE BROOK CHURCH, 7775 20th Avenue North, Lino Lakes with a visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, August 1 from 4-8 PM at MUELLER LAKE MORTUARY, 4738 Bald Eagle, White Bear Lake and one hour before the service Tuesday at church. Honey, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle & Friend, you are missed and deeply loved. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
