Wanda Kelly

Wanda Elaine Kelly (Nee Van Kampen), 88, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas. She is survived by 4 children, Kim Kelly, John (Mary) Kelly, Nancy (Marty) Wickoren, and Bob (Bridget) Kelly; 7 grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Guy), Robert (Beth), Megan (Spencer), Thomas, Bo, Dan (Paige), Ryan (Amanda); 7 great grandchildren, Jack, Evelyn, Shelby, Jace, Quinn, Reece, Rhett; and brother, Terry Van Kampen.

Wanda was employed as a nurses aid and then worked for many years at Sears. In her later life, she also assisted as a personal care attendant to the elderly. Wanda was a sports lover and enjoyed spending her days fishing. She found solace at her cabin in Grand Rapids, MN, walking in the woods, and immersing herself in the beauty of Chippewa National Forest. Her love of gardening was shown through her incredible green thumb as she tended to her flowers and tomatoes.

 She cherished time with her family, creating special memories with her children and grandchildren. Wanda also had a special fondness for Christmas and delighted in decorating her home for the holiday season. She will be greatly missed. 

A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation from 4 PM until time of service. Private family interment at Roselawn Cemetery at a later date.
