Walter H. Bender

Bender, Walter H. Walter, Age 84, surrounded by his family, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on April 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eleanore; 3 sons, Jim (Sally), Tim (Stephanie) and John (Alicia); 6 granddaughters, Natalie, Lydia, Meredith, Michaela, Isabelle and Savannah; sisters, Arleen Stroh and Eunice (Vernon) Boehlke. Funeral Service Friday, 10:30 am at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury with visitation from 9:30 to the time of services. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
