Virginia (Ginger) Mary Biermeier Elias

Elias, Virginia “Ginger” M. Beloved Wife, Mother and Dear Friend Virginia “Ginger” Elias died peacefully August 18, 2011 at home surrounded by family and friends after a courageous and graceful struggle with cancer. Preceded in death by mother and father, Ellen and Ray Biermeier. Survived by loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Fred Elias, daughter, Susan Elias, son, David Elias (Aly) and sisters, Lois Savoy (Tim), Janet Maher (Bill), and Joan Schmeckpeper (Stan) and many special cousins and friends. Ginger was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and a long time employee at Guidant. Special thanks to Dr. Cathrine Casey and the wonderful staff at MOHPA and Heartland Home Hospice. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, August 23 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with visitation 1 hr prior to the time of Mass. Interment St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery
