Gonzales, Victor “Cheeks” Beloved Father, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa & Brother Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 27, 2012 at his home. 25 yr. employee of Gillette Co., Member of the Grove St. Neighborhood Friends and long time East-Sider. Preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Sarah Gonzales; sister, Petra Ostrom; and son-in-law, Dale Nordstrom. Survived by children, Vickie Lindquist, Tracie Nordstrom, Laurie (Dan) Gonzales-Barron, Julie (Scott) Nordstrom; grandchildren, Michael, David, Christina, Melissa, William, Gabrielle, Colton, Chloë; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Salinaz, Paula Gonzales; and by many other family members and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Friday, June 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 401 Concord Street, St. Paul with visitation one hour prior to the time of the Mass. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Thank you to the people of HealthPartners Hospice. Special thanks to granddaughter, Melissa, for all the care and love and to Grandson, Michael, for handling all of Victor’s affairs during his illness. Memorials Preferred.
