Vicki L. (Ostrom) Anderson

Vicki L. (Ostrom) Anderson, 72, of White Bear Lake, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Arnold; children, Brady (Jessica) and Jennifer (Robert) Thilmany; grandchildren, Austin Thilmany, Tyler Thilmany, Aaron Thilmany, and Samuel Anderson; and brother, Gary Ostrom. Vicki was born on November 18th, 1948. She was raised in St. Paul. Daughter to Oscar and Ruth Ostrom. When she was 19 years old, she met the love of her life. Vicki met Arnie at Withrow Ballroom. Must have been love at first sight because they tied the knot 11 months later. They got married in St. Paul, July 1968. They started their life off while Arnie was in the Army, Living some time in Tennessee. Upon the return of Arnie from Korea and being discharged from the Army they bought their first house on Jesse St. in St Paul, MN April of 1970. They spent their first 4 years there. In Nov 1971 their first child (Brady) was born. In 1974 they moved out to Arnie’s remaining homestead in White Bear Lake. In 1975 their daughter (Jennifer) was born. Vicki loved camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and anything that involved her family. The holidays were always her favorite time of year. She was a wonderful wife, mother, but most importantly the greatest grandmother her 4 grandsons could ask for. She always made sure everyone was ok. She was the kindest women in the world. Vicki was married to Arnie for 53 years. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever!
