VERNA "GRANDMA" HOMAN (nee Olchefski) Age 90 ~ Loving Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma But Known as “Grandma” to Everyone Born on May 23, 1924 and passed away on December 16, 2014. Preceded in death by first husband, LeRoy Ives; and second husband, Harvey Homan. Will be dearly missed by her children, Dick (Karon) Ives, Sandra (Richard Larson) Kunstleben, Louise (Julian) Winter, Mary Lou (Deone) Johnson, Dorie Woodard and Evie Ives; brother, Sam Olchefski; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and other family and friends. Gathering of friends and family from 4-7PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul with a service celebrating her life at 7PM. Private family interment at General Lutheran Cemetery in South St. Paul.
