Terri Lynn Mealey Nelson

Terri Lynn Nelson (nee Mealey) ~ Age 56 Terri was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Leonard and Marlene Mealey on August 1, 1958. She attended Harding Senior High in St. Paul. Terri married the love of her life, Gene B. Nelson, on February 25, 1982. She was known for making and repurposing jewelry and collecting agate stones. Terri also enjoyed being on the lake and fishing. More than anything, she loved her family. After a long battle with cancer, Terri passed away on June 16, 2015. Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Marlene Mealey; and her younger brother, Joey. She is survived by her husband, Gene Bruce Nelson; her sisters, Sharon Puffer and Bobbie Ruza-Mealey; her brothers, Jeff, Leonard “Jr.”, Mark and Mike; her son, Matthew; her granddaughters, Jessica, Matiea and Katelyn; grandson, Raymond; great-grandsons Romello, Malachi and O’lonte; many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, special and lifelong friends. Memorial Service 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul with a gathering of friends and family from 2:00-5:00 PM.
