Shirley Florence Peterson Peltier

Beloved Mother, Grandmother Great Grandmother Age 86 of Mahtomedi, passed away October 13, 2010. Preceded in death by husband George. Survived by children Kathleen (Robert) Brullo of Stillwater, Skip (Kay) of Woodbury, Ronald (Arlie) of Dellwood, Douglas (Carol) of Forest Lake and Robert (Denise) of Stillwater. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Harold (Rose) of Cannon Falls, sisters Martha (Ron) Davidson of Wayzata and Marlys (Sherman) Evanson of South St. Paul. Shirley graduated from Bethesda School of Nursing and had a very successful career as head nurse in labor and delivery at Anchor Hospital and Later St. Paul Ramsey Hospital now known as Regions Hospital. She was beloved by the nurses, doctors and patients who experienced her tender loving care as well as her infectious laugh. To know her was to remember her! Family was the #1 priority in her life and her home was the gathering place for countless dinners and celebrations -- she especially loved Christmas. A Memorial Service will be held 12 NOON Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi. Family and Friends may gather 1 hr prior to the service.
