Scott A. Pawelko, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Pawelko; and grandparents, Joseph and Marie Pawelko and Paul and Mary Niznik. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Bonnie Pawelko; sister, Jen (Adam) Drews; girlfriend, Ally Lee; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Growing up, Scott was an exemplary scout. He attended Mankato State University and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. He worked with computers and successful teams of people, most recently he worked for CVS Health. He enjoyed spending his time gardening, painting, and working on home projects. He loved cats, especially his four cats: Winnie, Ludi, Sasha, and Remmi. Those who knew Scott also knew he fought a long, hard battle with alcoholism. So much more can be used to describe Scott though; he also was introverted, but kind and gentle and would always try to do everything to the best of his ability. He was always very focused and ambitious. He was well loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
