Sam Smart

Sam Smart, 27, of Maplewood, passed away on January 1, 2020. Preceded in death by his dad, Ronnie Russell; special grandma, Pat Smart; paternal grandparents; and uncles, Jerry Smart, Mark Scheid, and Nick Castillo. Survived by his mom, Linda Smart (Terry); grandpa Ken Smart ; special aunties, Barb Castillo and Kathy Scheid; special cousins, Ashley, Nikki, and Brad; cousins, Ken, Ken Jr. Alex, Victor, Vivian, Robert, and Akasha; paternal aunt, Gayle Kanter; close friends, Clayton, Eric, Jonathan, Nate and Thomas; and many other extended family members and friends. Sam will be missed so much, especially by his mom who loved him unconditionally, cousins, and close friends. No more pain, rest in peace little man. Special thanks to HCMC critical care unit Veronika and Hillary, and others for there wonderful care of Sam. A time for memory sharing will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 7 PM at Mueller Memorial-Lake Chapel; 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 with visitation from 5 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
