Born at home June 4, 1925, to Solomon and Mathilda (Cote) Cardinal in White Bear Lake, MN, her beloved hometown where she lovingly raised her devoted family and enjoyed most of her life. Survived by children Daniel (Mary), Constance (Fred) Halverson, Thomas (Kari), Colleen (Glenn) Heapy and Steven (Gail); grandchildren Cynthia (Brian) Doffing, Mike (Christine) Halverson, Jennifer (Josh Dwyer) Halverson, Kristi Cartier, Kelly Cartier, Jenna (Jon Maack) Cartier, Matthew (JeAnna) Cartier, Katherine (Marian) Batog, Marcel Cartier; eighteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her children's father, Robert Cartier; a baby sister, Adele Leona Cardinal; sister Dolores Cardinal; brother Melvin Cardinal; and grandchildren Thomas Halverson, Aileen Cartier and Ernest Schober.

Visitation Friday, February 23, 2024, 1:00-2:00pm at Mueller Memorial, White Bear Lake, MN followed by burial at St. Mary of the Lake cemetery, White Bear Lake. Memorials preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor. The Little Sisters and their devoted staff welcomed Adele and provided exceptional loving and compassionate care for the past twelve years.
