Ronald (Ronnie) Gilbert Wenzel

Wenzel, Ronald Gilbert “Ronnie” Age 71 of White Bear Lake Died of a broken heart on April 15, induced by the unexpected passing of his beloved wife and best friend of 23 years, Laura, on April 4, 2013. Also preceded in death by parents, Dr. Gilbert and Alice Wenzel of St. Paul, MN; and sister-in-law, Nancy Wenzel (Larry) of Lowry, MN. Survived by sons, Todd Wenzel (Gretchen), David Wenzel, Brad Wenzel (Kris), and John Wenzel; stepsons, Brian Mabie (Jennifer) and Tyler Mabie (Aimee); brother, Larry Wenzel; previous wife of 27 years, Sandy Wenzel; 13 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends. Ronnie was a tireless and fearless entrepreneur endowed with a cheerful and optimistic outlook regardless of any challenge he encountered. Above all, Ronnie was a loyal and loving husband, friend, brother and father, gifted at making everyone feel as if they were the most important and special person he’d encountered on that day. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3-6PM on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake. There will be a time for friends and family to share memories of Ronnie at 5 PM on Sunday at Mueller Lake Mortuary.
