Rodney Glazier

GLAZIER, Rodney (Rod) Age 86 of Oakdale, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 3, 2023 after a battle with Parkinson's disease/Lewy Body Alzheimer's. Born August 16, 1937 on the eastside of St. Paul, 1956 graduate from Johnson High School, and retired from West Publishing.

Preceded in death by parents Ralph and Elizabeth; in-laws May and Manuel; brother-in-law Roddy; and son-in-law Jim Benert. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Dolores; children, Mike, Laurie, Mary Jean (John) Remackel, Linda (John) Benert Linden, Greg, and Anne; 10 grandchildren, Ian, Danielle (Brandon), Brian (Emily), Jamie, Nicole, Ryan, Celina, Tony, Courtney (Brandon), Cayla; 4 great grandchildren, Peyton, Kinsley, Rowan, and Jaxon; extended family and friends in New Ulm.

Rod always wanted a big family to love and cherish, and he was very proud of his family. An avid hunter, who had a love of all sports (coaching too), enjoyed fishing, bowling, archery, tennis, horseshoes, and golfing.

A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, November 16, at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear lake, MN 55110, with visitation from 3 PM until the time of the service. Private interment on Friday, November 17 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
