Westphal, Robert L. Age 76 Of Oakdale Passed away on May 14, 2013. CW4 (AUS-Ret) and Retired from Department of Defense in 1998. Survived by beloved wife of 31 years, Jeanne M. (nee Moore); son, Brian (Carol) and their children, Trevor, Madison, and Nathan of Idaho; daughter, Lisa (Dan) Dean and their daughter, Emily of Idaho; and step-sons, Tom Cosgrove and his son, Kyle of Minnesota, Bill (Connie) Cosgrove and their daughters, Samantha and Claire of Minnesota; along with sisters, Lauretta Theline of Minnesota, Helen Wilke of Washington, Ruth (Melvin) Schliep of Minnesota, Jean (Les) Olson of Minnesota, Elaine (Tom) Mohr of Minnesota, Mavis Mohr of Minnesota, Marilyn (Kenneth) Windholz of Kansas; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers; and one sister. Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, May 17, 2013 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 1000 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
