Robert (Bob) Hudson

Hudson, Robert “Bob” Bruce , age 84, of White Bear Lake died January 28, 2015. Preceded in death by: parents Mary and William, wife Helen (née Borden), wife MaryAnn (née Young) and granddaughter Megan McKinney. Survived by: brothers Bill (Gloria) and Jim (Sue); daughters Ann and Mary (Colin) McKinney; sons David (Dana) and Paul (Gary); grandchildren Daniel and Dylan Hudson and Kalie and Matthew McKinney; and many nieces and nephews. Bob and Helen Hudson were married 45 years before Helen’s passing in 2002 and together raised their five children. Bob and MaryAnn Hudson were married 6 years before her passing in 2009. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Minnesota Chapter of the MS Society or Rainn.org Bob grew up in St. Paul and graduated from St. Thomas Academy; he also attended St. Thomas College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict, stationed in California. For many years, he and Helen lived in Ft. Dodge, IA and then Glendora, CA; they returned to Minnesota in 1989, moving to White Bear Lake. Bob was very proud of his years of volunteer service in support of affordable housing for low- and middle-income families in White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial March 27, 2015 at 11:30 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. .
