Bachman Sr., Richard D. Retired Pioneer Press Employee Age 72 – Navy Veteran Passed away suddenly on July 17, 2011 at his home. Enjoyed many activities, especially bowling, golfing, sailing and fishing at the cabin. Survived by children, Lynn (Terry) DeGraw and Richard Jr.; grandchildren, Krystal, Tanya, Cassandra, Jennifer, Ryan, and Kyle; great-grandson, Gage; special friend, Terry McDonough; sister, Donna (Bob) Jackson; brother, Joseph (Sandy) Bachman; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley; grandson, Bradley; and sister, Julie Lingl. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 5-8 PM Thursday, July 21 at MUELLER MEMORIAL PARKWAY CHAPEL, 835 Johnson Pkwy and 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial Service 11 AM Friday, July 22 at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel. Interment Ft. Snelling Nat’l Cemetery.
