Raymond John Landucci
Age 93 of White Bear Lake
Ray was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 24, 1924. He was the son of Julia (nee Romani) and Annibale (pronounced Ah-nee-bah-lay) Landucci. He attended Johnson High School and went on to enlist in the United States Navy. After being honorably discharged, he met the love of his life, Dorothy Sebesta. They shared a love for dancing, started dating, then were married. They had four children together, Gary, Ron, Julie, and Jean. They raised their family in Roseville. Ray was a dedicated employee at Hamm's Brewery, where he worked for more than 43 years. Outside of work and family, he was a phenomenal pen and ink artist, he loved to travel, he was a wonderful story teller, and he even published his own book, "Everybody Loves Raymond (Almost)".
On Friday, November 10, 2017, Ray passed away from complications from Parkinson's Disease. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Rose, Louis, Mary, Pauline, and Henry. He will be dearly missed by his wife of over 66 years, Dorothy Landucci; his sister, Lori Holter; his sons, Gary (Dianna) Landucci, and Ron Landucci; his daughters, Julie (Keith) Hillestad and Jean Landucci; his 5 grandchildren, and other family and friends.
There will be a gathering for family and friends from 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017. The gathering will take place at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake. Please join the family to visit, share memories, have a Hamm's beer in Ray's honor, and enjoy some appetizers.
The burial and military honors for Ray will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. This will be private and for family only.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
