Phyllis Elaine Williams
Passed Away at her Home on June 9, 2016
Age 72 of Vadnais Heights (formerly of Hinckley)
Phyllis was born in Hinckley Village and moved to the Twin Cities. She worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and was a Computer Specialist there. She was the person who would key punch the routes in order to ensure the tracks would switch and allow a train to go to the correct destination. She was an extremely dedicated employee and worked very hard to ensure her 3 children were cared for. Phyllis even worked holidays to ensure that she was able to raise them proudly as a single mother. In her more recent years, her kids were able to help her enjoy life to the fullest. They would take her to concerts, the Minnesota State Fair, and out and about. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone whose life she touched.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her honorary father, Bernie Petrosky; and her parents, Paul and Olive Rudenick. She will be dearly missed by her honorary mother, Honor Petrosky; her children, Debbie (Jesse) Richardson, Frank Thompson, and Mary St. Clair; and many other family and friends.
There will be a private gathering for Phyllis at the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to join for a graveside service at 2PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1800 Edgerton Street, Maplewood. Please meet at the front gate and we will process to the graveside as a group.
