Phyllis Riehle Gallagher

Phyllis Mary Gallagher Fortified by the sacraments of her faith, Phyllis Gallagher, age 88, passed away September 25, 2015 surrounded by family. Phyllis was born in St. Paul in 1927, a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, class of 1945. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Neal Gallagher, and her grandson, Matthew. She was a loving mother to 11 children, 18 grand-children, and six great grand-children. Her wit and wisdom were ever present as she enjoyed her family, cabin, prayer groups, bible studies, and treasure hunting. She is survived by her children, Christine (Tim) McGinty, Tim (Kathy), Tom (Peggy), Peggy, Annie (Lee) Walker, John (Susan), Joe, Jim (Sandy), Mark (Nancy), Fr. Gregory, and Katie (Robert) Moore; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kay Tierney and Mary Fox. Visitation 5-8 PM on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday, September 29 at the Church of St. Casimir, 834 Geranium Ave E, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
