Peter (Pete) John Mueller

Peter Mueller Age 78 of White Bear Lake April 21, 1935 - April 17, 2014 Peter was born in St. Joseph, MN to Albert and Appolonia Mueller. He married Jeanie Albers on June 11, 1957 at Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville, MN. He was a child of God, husband of Jeanie, father of John (Denise), Tim, Barb (Michael) LeClaire, Julie (Jim) Hall, James (Linda). Grandchildren Michael (Heather), Cassandra (Nathan), Joseph, Anna, Grace, Jessica, and Layla, great-grandchildren Mason and Matthew. Survived by siblings Eugene (Dora), Alice (Ray) Leyendecker, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings Ervin, Marcellus, Arnold, Carl, Isabelle and Lucille. Peter served from 1954-56 in the Army 6th Armored Division in Fort Leonard, MO and was also stationed in New Jersey. He worked for the American Can Company for 32 years and retired in 1992. The next 11 years he operated Mueller’s Delivery Service. He has been a long time member of St. Pius X Church, in White Bear Lake. He was a member of the American Legion in WBL. Peter especially enjoyed outdoor activities with family, including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, puzzles, reading, playing cards (especially cribbage), and writing of family history and genealogy. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball; coaching many of his children’s sports teams. Spending time with his grandkids was a favorite activity. He was very disciplined in tending to his long term heart condition. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend; he had a smile for everyone and will be sadly missed by all. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 11:00 am Thursday at ST. PIUS X CHURCH (3878 Highland Ave, White Bear Lake.) Visitation 4-7 pm Wednesday evening at ST PIUS X CHURCH and 1 hour prior to the Mass. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association or St. Pius X Church.
