Noreen A. Gordon Bichner

Bichner, Noreen Gordon Born on June 8, 1927 Of White Bear Lake Died peacefully on March 30, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Wade. She will be missed by daughters, Cindy (Dean) Snowberg, Cheri Gehringer, Barb (Ron) Ashbridge; sons, Mike (Candy) and John (Patti); grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Ryan, Michael, Patrick, Amber, Andrea and Bjorn; great-grandchildren, Claire, Allie, Albert, Nicholas, Emilia and Payton; sister, Norma Keeney; and brother-in-law, John F. Bichner. Noreen began her nursing career as a student in the Bethesda School of Nursing, St. Paul, in the fall of 1945. She cared for thousands of newborn babies over her 50+ years as a nurse at Bethesda and St. John’s Hospitals. She devoted years of energy to enable her three daughters to learn figure skating. Noreen was an avid Vikings fan. Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave at 3rd St., White Bear Lake, with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
