Nadereh Newman, 94, of White Bear Lake, MN, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 13, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Zanjan province of Iran, daughter of the late Jaleel and Sarah Mirbaha. Nadereh was married to her beloved husband, the late John Newman, for 52 years.
Nadereh was a retired art teacher and a life-long accomplished artist. She enjoyed capturing the beauty of nature and her surroundings by painting landscapes, portraits and still-life paintings. Her life was an embodiment of love, wisdom, kindness, and generosity. With these attributes, she was a role model and nurturer for her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Maryam Ellis and husband Terry of White Bear Lake, MN, and Shirin Jadidi Trapani and husband Angelo of Mendham, NJ; grandchildren Brian, Michael, Sarah, Christopher, Samuel, and Philip; great-grandchildren Amelia, Graham, Theodore, and Olivia. She is pre-deceased by her husband, John Newman and Son, Kenneth Mann.
A Memorial Celebration of Life for Nadereh will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, with visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in Nadereh's name to the American Heart Association.
