Mladen Zupan

Zupan, Mladen "Zup", 90, of White Bear Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine; and daughter, Marypat Cooper. He is survived by his children, Katie (Pat) Freese, Joe (Char), Mike (Katie), and Dave; grandchildren, Patrick (Molly), Tony, Bradley, Sam, Jordyn, Max, and Alex; great granddaughter, Olivia; and other family in Cleveland and friends.

Zup was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He spent 30 plus years on the White Bear Township planning committee and also in various volunteer roles. He loved his family most and was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. His smile and amazing character will be missed by all.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, and also from 10 AM to the time of the mass at the church on Friday. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A special thank you to the wonderful and loving care at Benedictine living community in New Brighton. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
