Mildred Marie "Millie" Buck (LaCasse)

Mildred M. “Millie” Buck (nee LaCasse) Age 94 of White Bear Lake Formerly of St. Paul Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 9, 2016. Millie is survived by children, Judy (Mike) Trepanier, Lyle (Delia), John (Jeanne), and Teresa (Sheldon) McElhiney; grandchildren, Michelle, Nicholle, Peter, Christa, Emily, Julia, Allison, and Amanda; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Moughan; in-laws, Lois & Harlan Arndt and Gordy & Bonnie Buck; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; sons, Tom and Bob; siblings, Mabel, Ida Mae, Joe, Art, Louis, Lawrence, and Richard; and daughter-in-law, Gina. Millie was a founding member of her church. Starting in the 1950s she worked to improve the quality of life of developmentally disabled persons. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her tender heart, and selfless generosity. Her infectious laugh and smile will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM with visitation from 9 AM until the time of Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church (formerly St. Thomas the Apostle), 2119 Stillwater Ave E, St. Paul. Internment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi.
