Left this life on February 13 to be reunited with his wife Betty and son Bob, who preceded him in death. Survived by daughter Christine (David) Scullen, son Martin (Theresa) Waldera, daughter-in-law Christine Waldera; grandchildren Alison (Scot) Zentz, Jennifer Waldera, David (Van) Scullen, Rebecca (Tim) Brown, Zachary & Kaitlin Waldera; great grandchildren Duncan, Chelsea, Conner, Addyson, Declan & Caleb; devoted nephew Pat Waldera. Served in Patton's 3rd Army, 90th Infantry Division, Tough Hombres. Awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Battle Stars for Normandy, Falaise Gap and Battle of the Bulge, Combat Infantry Badge. 3M retiree, Lifetime member of VFW Mendota Post #6690 and DAV. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (2/23) at 10:30 AM at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH-ST. THOMAS CAMPUS, 2119 Stillwater Avenue East with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mit will be deeply missed by his family.
