Matthew Henry Sprangers Beloved Husband, Father, Uncle and Friend Born on July 13th, 1922 in St. Cloud, MN to Rose and Mathias Sprangers. Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean Conflict, Burlington Northern employee and Past Commander of VFW Post #5. Preceded in death by wife, Dolores (McKliget). Survived by children, Mark (Susan), Susan (Robert), Cindy (Greg), John (Mary Kay), David (Terry), James (Kari), and Richard; grandchildren, Daniel and Drew (Autumn) Dale, Paul and Peter Sprangers, Ben Gillmer, Katie (Ozturk), Megan (Luke), Erin (Nate), and Kara Sprangers, Jennifer Meunier, Mercedes and Alex Sprangers, Angelica, Grace and Lily Sprangers; great-grandchildren, Logan and Addison Dale; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial at Friday, January 22 at 10:30 am at St. Pascal Baylon Church, 1757 Conway Street, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to the time of the Mass at the church at 9:30 am. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Pascal Baylon Church.
