Maryanne Stoffel

Stoffel, Maryanne, 86, of Woodbury, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Geisen. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gordon; daughters, Linda (Jeff) Fliss and Jennifer Hedin; grandchildren, Jake and Denin (Max); and great grandchild, Walker.

Maryanne was known for her warm spirit, her love of dogs, and for being an exceptional cook. A member of the Red Hat Society, she had many friends and enjoyed weekly games of mahjong.

She loved to travel with her husband, Gordon, especially to Florida where she would snorkel and relax in the water. They took pleasure in their secret discovery while watching the news, that the coldest day of the year in MN was usually on January 19. So, over the last 25 years, they took a vow to never spend another January 19 in MN ever again. Her infectious and vibrant laughter will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 At Mueller Memorial- 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55106. Private family interment at a later date.
