Lou O'Connor

Mary Lou O’Connor (“Lou”) passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 of natural causes at the age of 90. Lou was survived by her 4 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death my husbands Jack O’Connor and Leo Delonais.

Born March 22, 1932 in St. Paul, she moved to White Bear Lake and graduated from White Bear High School in 1950.

In 1954 she married Jack O’Connor and lived on Bald Eagle Lake while raising four children. She was one of the founding members of the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club. She was also a longtime member of the Bald Eagle Yacht Club and Bald Eagle Women’s Club. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting.

Lou married Leo Delonais in 1997. They enjoyed traveling and many outdoor activities and she was also involved in his construction company. After a traffic accident in which Leo lost his life, she moved to Vadnais Heights, where she lived until her death.

A memorial gathering will take place from 2-4:00pm on Saturday, February 18th at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake.
