Mary Ann Theresa Schnider

Schnider, Mary Ann Age 83 Loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma Passed away peacefully May 20th surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mary Ann was born in Hartington, NE. She was the first of ten children born to Mike and Irene Schmidt. Preceded in death by her son Daniel (1950-1975); brothers, Mike (Mary), Leonard (Mary), and Bob (Darlene) Schmidt. In addition to her husband of 63 years (H.G. Hank Schnider), she is survived by children, Mary (Tom/Butch) Gamboni, Cindy (Bob) Erlander, Eileen (Gordy) Hanson, and David (Patty) Schnider; many brothers; sisters; and friends. She was blessed with nine grandchildren. Her tenth great-grandchild was born on Sunday, May 15th, 2011. After growing up in Hartington, Mary Ann married Hank in October of 1948 and moved to Sheldon, IA where they lived until 1955. They then moved to Minnesota Lake, MN. In 1967 they moved to Hugo, MN where she spent the rest of her life. Mary Ann loved to play cards with friends, casino trips and traveling to Mesa, AZ to spend her winters. Mary Ann was a devout Catholic and a member of St. John’s the Baptist Church in Hugo. Visitation from 5:30 to 8 PM TUESDAY at MUELLER LAKE MORTUARY; 4738 Bald Eagle Ave at 3rd St., White Bear Lake and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial WEDNESDAY at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Hugo. Interment Church cemetery.
