Marty Van Pelt

Marty Richard Van Pelt, 66, of White Bear Lake passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 5th, 2022. His family was by his bedside when he passed. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dianne (Marsh); daughters, Jennifer (JJ Reith) and Jolene; his parents, Richard and Joan; and his sisters, Cynthia and Sandra (Rich). He is proceeded in death by his grandparents; and his sister, Karline.

Although Marty is gone, his humor, intelligence, and story-telling abilities will be with us forever. He'll be remembered for his devotion to his wife and daughters, his love of the outdoors, and his predictable and silly sayings like, "I Googled it on Yahoo", "I saw it on the radio", and "keep it under 100 and in between the ditches."

A celebration of his life will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake. It will be a casual open house style celebration of life; no need to dress up. Marty would have wanted you to come as you are.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Marty's memory to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Marty was fierce in conservation for future hunter and anglers.
