Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma. 

Marlene was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 4, 1936 to Laura; James Barry. She attended St. Joseph Academy and met John Pugaczewski who attended St. Paul Johnson. They were married on April 11, 1959 at Sacred Heart Parish in St. Paul. Although not frequent travelers, Marlene and John enjoyed taking trips to Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. They did have dogs and also enjoyed all of the dogs and cat that their children and grandchildren had and have. She loved going on the pontoon on Bald Eagle Lake when they lived in White Bear as well. Her family was the center of her life. She played solitaire on her iPad, colored with great-grandchildren and did word search books. She wanted to be active, stay involved and informed.

Marlene passed away, with her family by her side, on March 7, 2023. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John; her parents and brothers Stan &  Don. She will be dearly missed by her children, John (Tina) Pugaczewski of Hugo, Laura (Rick) Dominik of White Bear Lake, and Kathie Pugaczewski of Roseville; her grandchildren, Mark (Amanda), Jenna (Zach) & Emily (Zack); great grandchildren Liam, Blake, Luke, Elijah & Rhett; sister-in-law, Cathy Pugaczewski; niece, Julie Bailey; Barry family nieces and nephews; grand-animals Abby, Edward, Ralph, Ruby & Sasha. Gathering of friends and family on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with second visitation from 10:00-11:00 am at church. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery, White Bear Lake. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
