Marion Myrtle Blomgren Dolan

Marion Myrtle Dolan (nee Blomgren) Age 85 of St. Paul’s Eastside Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma Marion was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 8th, 1929 to Myrtle (nee Luth) and Elmer Blomgren. She graduated from Johnson High School. Marion met the love of her life, Richard Dolan, and they were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 1951. They had three children together and raised them on the Eastside. Marion’s focus was raising her family, however, when the kids grew up, she began working at Weight Watchers and was there for over 30 years. She was a very kind and sharp witted woman. Marion is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Myrtle; her brother, Warren Blomgren; and her cousin, who was more like a sister, Peg Belland. Marion will be dearly missed by her husband of over 64 years, Richard Dolan; her three children, Adele Dolan of St. Paul, Joan (Greg) TaBelle of St. Paul Park, and Mark Dolan of Oakdale; her four grandchildren, Lance Dolan of California, Steven Fishbeck of St. Paul, Ross TaBelle of St. Paul Park, and Eric TaBelle of St. Paul Park; her dear great-granddaughter, Janessa TaBelle; her brothers, Vernon Blomgren of St. Paul, and Dan Blomgren of Missouri; and many other family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 3:00-6:00PM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with a Service at 6:00PM. Private family interment at Union Cemetery of Maplewood. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
