Mariko S. Gillen

Gillen, Mariko S. Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother Age 86, passed away surrounded by family on 5/9/12. Mom loved to crochet, go to the movies and shop garage sales. She loved animals, as well as being with her family and eating at Old Country Buffet. Survived by loving husband of 61 years, John; 4 children, Charlotte “Charly” (Darrell) Kasal, Mike (Vel), Steve (Betty) and Paul; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Hideo Kubota; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to New Harmony Care Center and HealthEast Hospice for their loving care. Visitation Tuesday, 4 – 8 pm at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. In honor of mom, please wear something pink. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the New Harmony Care Center, St. Paul for the New Van Fund.
