Marie Ethel Wenzel Arneberg

Marie Ethel Arneberg Age 96 of Saint Paul Passed Away Peacefully in her Sleep Marie was born in St. Paul on August 23, 1918 to Herman and Gertrude Wenzel. She worked for the State of Minnesota and Minnesota Mining. She loved gardening, bowling and playing cards. Marie attended Harding High School in St. Paul. She married the love of her life, Roger, on October 1, 1949 in St. Paul. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; her parents; brothers, George, William, Robert and Thomas; and sisters, Margaret Johnson, Lillian Holland, Dorothy Carlson, Gertrude Egan and Norma Meeks. Survived by sons, Gregory (Meg) of North St. Paul, Robert (Margaret) of Maplewood and Richard (Denise) of Houlton, WI; grandchildren, Aaron, Neal, Matthew, Ross, Anne, Adam and Adrienne; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Gabriel, Lauren, Carson, Addyson, Brody, Morgan and Gunnard; siblings, Herman (Bettey) Wenzel and Irving Wenzel; and a special nephew, Michael (Ann) Holland. Funeral Service 10:30AM on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul with visitation beginning at 9:30AM. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
