Marcedes (Marcie) Frances Delkoski Carletto

Marcedes Frances “Marcie” Carletto (nee Delkoski) Age 92 of St. Paul Dear Mother, Aunt and Friend Marcie was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 17, 1923 to Anna (nee Muehlberger) and Frank Delkoski. She met the love of her life, Philomen “Phil” Carletto and they were married at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on November 20, 1948. Marcie dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife and mother. She stayed at home to care for their two children, Cindy and Greg, and her husband after he had heart surgery. Marcie was a very social woman and loved to chat with her friends. She was always thinking of other people and trying to cheer them up. Marcie had a phenomenal sense of humor and could always be found smiling. Even if she was not feeling well, she would always say “I’m fine.” Marcie had a knack for computers and enjoyed playing games on them. She will be forever missed by all who knew her. Marcie passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015 at Lyngblomsten Care Center with her daughter by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Philomen “Phil”; her son, Gregory “Greg”; her brothers and sisters; and her niece. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” of St. Paul; and many nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM on Friday, November 6, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 261 E. 8th Street, Downtown St. Paul with a visitation from 9-10AM at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.
