Lucy Melendez (Grau)

Lucy Grau Melendez “Mama” “Que no me joden” Soy Boriqua Age 87 of St. Paul, Minnesota ~ Formerly of New York Lucy was born on February 2, 1930. She married the love of her life, Antonio Melendez, in Rio – Piedra Puerto Rico. She passed away at Marian Care Center of St. Paul on the morning of August 27, 2017 with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio; her three sons, Ramon “Tony” Melendez, Carlos Melendez, Robert Melendez, and Edwin Melendez. She will be dearly missed by her children, Frank Melendez, Walter (Kathy) Melendez, Susan (Robert) Rohricht, Lucy (Samuel) Ramos, and Sandra Melendez-Henry; her grandchildren, Anthony Melendez, Christine Melendez, Dennis Melendez, Decker Peterson, Alexandra Williams, Cassandra Schmidt, Lenny Ramos, Chris Melendez, Lucinda Rohricht, Sofia Melendez, Nicole Melendez, David Melendez, Amanda Melendez, Claire Melendez, Andrew Melendez, Eddie Melendez, and Carlos Melendez Jr.; great-grandchildren, Skye Vega, Syon Davis, Ariana Melendez, Iyana Melendez, Jehavino Melendez, Layana Melendez, Armani Tran, Elijah Hutchens, Stone Williams, Eden Williams, Victoria Aguire, Violet Aguire, Gunnar W. Peterson, Taylia Peterson, Makai Melendez, and Aaliyah Griffen; and many other family and friends. There was a private gathering for family. Lucy will be buried with her husband at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
