Louis P. Cotroneo
Passed peacefully at age 93. Born August 7, 1930. Lou's energy, spirit, and love to be around others remained until the end. Preceded in death by parents Jennie and Pasquale; siblings, Dominic, Frank, Rosalia, Bertha; wife, Betty,; great grandson, Louie. Also preceded in death by many other relatives and friends.
He will be missed by his children, Tim(Judy), Jim(Shelley), and Cindy(Guy); his 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Louie was a lifelong St. Paul resident and proud Eastsider. He served in the Korean War, was a teacher, administrator and retired from St. Paul Public Works.
Lou spent his life around hockey, as a player, coach, referee, NHL minor official, and media host for the Minnesota Wild.
Special thanks to the Waters of Oakdale, and Brighton Hospice, and all of the staff for providing exceptional, compassionate care.

Visitation 4-7pm on Monday, November 20th at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy. St. Paul. Funeral Mass 10am on Tuesday, November 21st at Church of the Assumption, 51 7th St. W., St. Paul with visitation beginning at 9am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul at 11am on Saturday, November 25th with Social Gathering at Obb's Sports Bar starting at 1pm. Everyone is welcome.
