Lorraine Assunta Mielke (Nardini)

Lorraine A. Mielke (nee Nardini) Age 88 of Mahtomedi Passed peacefully on June 6, 2016 Lorraine was born to Ralph and Edith Nardini in St. Paul, MN on July 21, 1927. She graduated from Johnson HS and worked at Northwestern/Wells Fargo Bank throughout her career. Lorraine and her husband LeRoy were blessed with four sons. In retirement, Lorraine enjoyed bowling, long blading, and perfecting her golf game. She was a loving, caring, and generous person who gave her all to her family and friends. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy “Bud”; brother, Gene Nardini; and brother-in-law, Bill Klatt Sr. She is survived by her sons, Steve of Webster, WI; Dan (Lynn) of Grant; Mike (Marcy) of Kelley’s Island, OH; and Brian (Sue) of Mahtomedi; grandchildren, Mike, Marlana, and Louis; sister, Irene Klatt of Maplewood; brother, Ralph (Lenore) Nardini of Shoreview; and sister-in-law, Rheta Nardini; and all her very special nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi. Interment Lakeview Cemetery of Mahtomedi. Memorials preferred to the family or to the donor’s choice.
