Lorene Katherine Rademacher Geheren

Geheren, Lorene nee Rademacher 101 years old of St. Paul Born October 4, 1911 in Fergus Falls, MN and died January 30, 2013 at Lyngblomsten Care Center. Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Wilhemina Rademacher; husband, Gerald “Jerry” Geheren; sister and brother-in-law, Laverne and Earl Ellison. As a young girl, Lorene was selected as the first girl on the school patrol in St. Paul and most likely in the country. Her responsibility was to patrol the fire barn where the horses were housed. Lorene enjoyed travel, bowling and family gatherings. She was employed by Brown and Biegelow for thirty years. Lorene lived her life with humor and grace and experienced great joy from her love of animals. Lorene is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. At 101 years she is the last family member of her generation. The family of Lorene Geheren wishes to thank Lyngblomsten caregivers for their outstanding care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial 12 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Lyngblomsten Care Center, 1415 Almond Avenue, St. Paul with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ramsey County Humane Society.
