Lois McDonough

Lois Irene McDonough August 20, 1943 - March 22, 2021 Passed away on March 22, 2021 after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph and Edna Phillippi. She is survived by her son, Paul McDonough; brother, Jerry Phillippi (Darlene); sister, Jean Liebgott (John); and her loving nieces and nephews, John Liebgott (Theresa), Kevin Phillippi (Eva), Kathleen Wuorinen (John), David Liebgott (Terry), Christine Moe, Cheryl Phillippi (Jani), as well as many great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lois graduated from St Bernard’s Catholic School in St. Paul and worked for several years in the administration offices of Stillwater prison as a secretary. Lois loved travel and outings with girlfriends. One of her greatest loves was her dog and long-time companion, Mitzy. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her lifelong friends. A private funeral Mass will be held on April 23rd at St Mary’s-WBL with livestreaming available through the church website, with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
