Lloyd Mellen "Cooie" Age 76 Passed Away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 Cooie passed away at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was born to the union of the late Wesley Mellen and Neva Mellen on February 23, 1937, in Milbank, South Dakota. Lloyd owned Shoppers City Bakery in St. Paul and Fancy Nancy Jewelry Store in Stillwater. He loved diverse music, including Polynesian and African music. He played the conga drum in the Polynesian Band, the Shalita Band, and the Mila African Band. Lloyd is survived by his wife, his son William Mellen, and a host of relatives and friends in and out of the United States. Memorial service scheduled at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 835 Johnson Parkway, in St. Paul MN with visitation beginning at 12PM (NOON) at the funeral home.
