Life Story
Linda Lee Mattson was born 3/20/1948, youngest child to Gust and Aune Mattson in Cloquet MN. She joined siblings Carol, Sonja and Billy. She graduated from Cloquet High School in â66. She became Mother to Dawn, then married John Edward Andrys on 5/1/71. They soon welcomed Melissa, Rebecca and Jennifer to the family. During this time, Mom took various accounting jobs. She also used her talent for knitting and crocheting to sell sweaters, blankets, hats and more. Her work was so popular she knit all year round. She started her own L.L.C for accounting and tax preparation and was self-employed for over 30 years. Sadly John died in â97. Mom showed us how to keep living our best. She took up photography and framing doing professional quality work. She even did the graduation photos for some of her Grandkids! Mom remodeled and redecorated her home on her own, and did many arts and crafts. She did ancestry research, and even got in touch with distant relatives in Finland. Mom wrote and self-published a childrenâs book! Mom traveled the U.S with several folks. Her favorite group âThe Three Musketeersâ, being herself, Babe and Ernie toured around in Ernieâs old R.V. This quiet lady was so amazing. Devoted Wife. Generous and loving Mother and Grandma. Great Friend to her Son in law. Favorite Sister. Hands down, favorite Auntie. Best Friend to all she met.
We will miss you, Mom. Thank you for everything.
