LaDonna Swart

LaDonna Swart, 79 of Hugo, MN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones, on October 8, 2024.

She was born on October 20, 1944, in Benson MN to Arthur (Duke) Anderson and Maxine (Conyers) Anderson, both preceding her in death. She was a 1962 graduate of Willmar Senior High, where she enjoyed working as a car hop and learning skills in banking. Most of her career was spent in banking and bookkeeping while living in Willmar and Hawick. She relocated to Hugo in 2001 to be near her growing family. LaDonna enjoyed a 20-year career at Lake Area Bank in Hugo before retiring in 2022. While there, she participated in many Hugo Good Neighbor Days parades and served on the Hugo Business Association. She also served several terms as the treasurer for the Pineview Meadows Townhome Association and prided herself on her excellent bookkeeping skills in this role.

LaDonna so loved her family and is survived by her two daughters, Deb (Craig) Norsten and Tamara (William) Boeck, her four Grandchildren, Brother, Doug Anderson and Sister, Charlene Tomars. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Breu.
