Kurt D. Olson

Kurt Donald Olson Passed away on January 15, 2015 at Age 62. Kurt was born on May 6, 1952 in Fairmont, MN. His family then moved to the Eastside of St. Paul and he graduated from North St. Paul in 1970. Kurt loved to ski, boat, cook, fish, shoot trap and be social. Kurt was generous and kind. He would do anything for anyone. Kurt obtained his Geographical Planning degree from MT State and got his first job as a Chicago Cutlery salesman. He later worked at Nordic Ware, Gronnerberg and Associates, Stuart Holmes Sales, Synergy Marketing and he retired in May of 2014. Kurt was the Commodore of the St. Croix Yacht Club in 2007. He belonged to Hardware Housewares and the Suburban Corvette Club. Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Joan (nee Luedtke). Will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon of Woodbury; brother, Neal Olson of Missoula, MT; aunt, Ellen Frazer of Tuscan, AZ; mother-in-law, Isabelle Rousseau of Roseville; and other relatives and many friends. Memorial Service is at 7PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with a gathering of friends and family from 4-7PM.
