Kathy Brault

Brault, Kathleen (Kathy) Daul Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2018, Kathy had a fearless will to continue a life of purpose and joy, celebrating faith, family and friendships. She passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Kathy is survived by her devoted husband and best friend of 40 years, Pat Brault, and their daughters and spouses: Andrea Brault & Nick Gill (Chicago), Emily & Pete Klopp (Lake Elmo) and Erin & Pat Sejkora (St. Louis Park), parents of Kathy’s beloved first grandchild, Rose Sejkora. Born and raised in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley, Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Alice (Ambrosius) & Joe Daul, infant sister, Michelle, in-laws, Carol & Bill Brault, and nephew, Jeff Van Camp. After graduating from St Joseph’s Academy (Green Bay), she earned her bachelor’s from St. Catherine University. A resident of the Twin Cities since 1991, Kathy called Minneapolis home since 2011. Kathy, Pat, and their daughters celebrated life together during her battle, taking numerous trips, enjoying time together during frequent visits to the Mayo Clinic, and supporting the work of organizations fighting pancreatic cancer. Kathy’s life will be celebrated at a funeral mass on Saturday, April 13, at 2:00 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1203 5th Street, SE, Minneapolis, with visitation at 12:30 pm. To honor Kathy’s love of gardening and the outdoors, please wear springtime colors. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Mayo Clinic in support of Pancreatic Cancer Research.
