Nicolas, Kathryn Schuneman Age 55 of St. Paul Passed away February 16 After an inspiring three year battle with MDS/AML. Preceded in death by brother, David; nephew, Ben Lynum; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Fred Onasch; Audrey and Ralph Buchan; treasured friend, Bobbie Chevrette. Survived by husband, Thomas Nicolas; parents, Don and Pat Schuneman; siblings, Bill (Dee), Pat (Steve) Jones, Don (Bridget), Mike (Bev), Peg (Brad) Lynum, Bob (Molly), Joan (Mark) Wolters, Mary Lloyd, Beth (Brian) Carle; 32 nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; godchildren, Beth Carle, Brian Barkley, Jason Schuneman, Steven Snaza, Matt Jones, David Lynum, Mariah Lloyd, Bridget Schuneman; life-long friends, Karen, Cindy, Kathy, Linda, Mike; also Jo P., Diane A., Red, many other friends and relatives; and by second families, Cullens, Buchans, Chevy and Mclellans. Memorial Service 11 AM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier Avenue, St. Paul. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday, both at the church. Please wear bright colors. Private family interment in the spring, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
