Karen J. Meyer (nee Anderson)
Karen was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 10, 1938 to Helen (nee Wilson) and Gerad Anderson. She attended Harding High School in St. Paul and graduated from there as well. Karen always created fun times with her family including bringing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to Cup and Cone. She enjoyed coffee with friends, playing cards and dominos, and spending time at the cabin in Webster, Wisconsin. Her passions included her garden, flowers, and most importantly, her family.
Karen passed away peacefully at the age of 77 in White Bear Lake on July 17, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family. Karen is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanie Marie and husband of 51 years, Robert M. Meyer. She will be dearly missed by her children, Carey (Larry) Larson, Robbie (Sherrie) Meyer, Michael Meyer, and Christine (Terry) Phinney; her 8 grandchildren, Brad (Becky) Larson, Josh (Leslie) Larson, Andy Meyer (Christy Evans), Aleasha Meyer, Tony Phinney (Katie Backlund), Tisa Phinney, Beau Phinney and Dustin Wick; her 8 great-grandchildren, Jaxon Larson, Chase Larson, Elodie Larson, Grace Larson, Eva Larson, Elizabeth Larson, Mason Meyer and Brennon Phinney; her siblings, Jean Smith, Helen (Herb) Smith, Kathy (Ken) Powell and Lynn LeMire; and many other family and friends.
There will be a visitation from 5:00-6:30PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Mueller Memorial Lake, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with a Memorial Service at 6:30PM with a reception to follow.
